Named after the late founder of the UAE, Zayed University is the benchmark of modern further education in the Middle East. The university is located in Dubai's TECOM (Technology, Electronic Commerce and Media) district, which is fast becoming the new economy hub of Dubai.
This locality provides an infrastructure, environment and attitude that will create the first world's free international trade zone for IT, e-business and media, enabling new economy enterprises to operate locally as well as globally. In the midst of this setting, Zayed University was completed in 2007. It has a built-up area of 8,255m² divided between two basements, a ground floor and two further storeys, in addition to the shell and core facilities dedicated for educational and academic purposes.
