In 1989, Engr. Khalil Abdullah graduated BSc in Civil Engineering in Basrah, Iraq. Subsequently, he secured his first job at Al Fao Establishment, Iraq where he was able to work on high valued projects from Thartar City Residential and Government buildings to Basra TV Station.
Spanning a total of 24 years of international work experience, travelling from Iraq to Malaysia and Libya, Khalil settled in the UAE from October 2002. He worked with Architecture & Engineering Consultant (ARTEC) as a Section Engineer, heading the department and supervising various enabling and construction works as well as concrete buildings and steel structures.
Khalil joined Dewan on August 2005 with World Trade Residence as his first project. With 11 years tenure in the firm, he had been assigned and had successfully managed and supervised 11 prestigious projects. Two of these projects are in Basrah.
Currently functioning as a Chief Resident Engineer for two Dubai Parks & Resorts projects (Lapita Hotel and River Land), Khalil and his team with the support of management and cooperation from design team, reached a high level of service that has recently been acknowledged by the client.
