From 1999 to 2022, Safaa developed a deep understanding of City and Urban Planning over his 23 years in the Architectural and Planning industry. As an Urban Planner professional, he takes pride in developing the team capabilities and thrives on productive environment of sustainable city planning. He enjoys working in a healthy and efficient environment, as it allows him to develop the built environment growth, mitigate the city planning issues, and enhance the residential community lifestyle.

Safaa has a bachelor’s degree in architectural science from University of Technology/Baghdad and master’s degree in urban and Regional Planning from Baghdad University.Currently, he works as a Senior Design Manager-Urban Planning at Dewan Architects, where he is focused on developing the Master Plans and Renewal Urban Generation. During his time at Dewan, he has helped the Urban Planning team and developed the work quality, while maintaining Company’s cost and time in the acceptable range.
